Everyone needs to save power
Anyone who has traveled with their Notebook computer knows the difficulty of finding a power plug on the road. Longer battery life is one of the selling points of many new processors. Likewise many people leave their computer on all the time for the sake of convenience. This habit on a collective basis leads to massive power consumption on a national level.
How much power can you save?
The CUPP Low Power System uses less than one watt of power when not executing a task. This compares to something in the range of 100 watts of power per hour when a desktop is inactive. A typical Notebook will use in the range 25 watts of power per hour when idle.
What does that mean?
For Notebook Users the CUPP Low Power System should mean at least a doubling in battery life (Depending on Hardware Configuration). For Home Users the CUPP System will pay for itself in saved electricity within a year. Business will see saving in proportion to the number of Computers in use.
